About
I am a registered nurse midwife with a degree from Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm (2005). During my many years working at various maternity wards in Stockholm, I’ve had the privilege of supporting women through both childbirth and the important time after — and I’ve helped bring hundreds of babies into the world. Before that, I worked as a nurse in neonatal units.
Today, I’m a full-time health entrepreneur and Chief Midwife at Preglife. Every day, I offer advice and support to nearly half a million expecting and new parents, and since 2016 I’ve hosted Gravidpodden — one of Sweden’s first and largest pregnancy podcasts. I also regularly run courses for expecting and new parents and give lectures on pregnancy and parenthood in Preglife Courses, where we offer high-quality childbirth preparation classes.
In addition to this, I’m a certified yoga instructor, and in spring 2025 I led Scandinavia’s largest pregnancy yoga event, where over 700 women participated in a joint yoga session. I also hold a sommelier diploma and am, in other words, an expert on wine.
Passion
To me, being a midwife means being an advocate for women’s rights — where an essential part is ensuring a safe and positive birth experience. I’m deeply passionate about helping women discover their unique strength by giving them the knowledge they need during pregnancy.
My dream is to spread information about pregnancy, childbirth, and parenthood to expecting and new parents all over the world — to help increase knowledge and confidence, but also to contribute to a greater understanding of women’s health globally.
