Yoga is a great way to prepare the body and mind for childbirth. Practising yoga during pregnancy also provides better opportunities for recovery afterward.

Developing a habit of regularly exercising the core muscles and pelvic floor is beneficial, especially as you progress in pregnancy and the centre of gravity shifts forward.
