The goal is, of course, for you to give birth without fear. Depending on the underlying cause of the fear, different things can help. Generally, it can be beneficial to consider the following:
- Prepare yourself by practising yoga, meditation, or other ways to connect with your body.
- Learn about pain and pain management so that you can create a strategy you believe in.
- Attend a course, preferably an antenatal class, where you can gain valuable tools and assistance on how to think and act in different situations.
