Braxton-Hicks contractions

Labor contractions
- Are regular
- Come more frequently
- Duration and intensity increase
- The pain is in the back and the groin area over the pubic bone
- Correlation between the hardness of the uterus and the pain
- Bloody show
- The cervix thins out and dilates
- The baby’s head starts to descend into the birth canal
